JUNGLE RUNNER OR DWARF TEGU (Ameiva ameiva)
- Origin: Brazil.
- Size: up to 50 cm.
- Habitats: diurnal and terrestrial.
- Terrarium: spacious (150 x 55 x 60 cm), with trunks,
rocks, earth and tree bark, Little humidity (30 %) and temperature
from 25 - 32 ºC.
- Reproduction: oviparous, lays up to 6 eggs.
- Handling: Is usually shy but can become accustomed
over time.
- Feeding: Alcon ReptoLife, Alcon
Gammarus, crickets and beetles, in addition
to Labcon
